The Chiavari exit is situated on highway 12 (Livorno-Ventimiglia). And precisely is situated in the segment of the highway between Genova and Sestri Levante. For anyone who wants to travel by car, the objective is to reach, by highway, Genova or La Spezia. If you drive from the south or east (Parma) you should follow the Genova signs. Instead if you arrive from the north, you should follow the La Spezia- Livorno signs. Once taken the Chiavari exit, you will drive on a descending ramp that will lead you to a roundabout, take the street on the right (Via Fiume), go through the first traffic light, and pass the crossroad and at the second traffic light turn left (Corso Italia). Drive for 300 meters and at the first crossroad, with a traffic light, turn left; you will find the hall of the hotel 30 meters down on the right. Remember the hotel has unloading and loading parking space, reserved for customers in front of the hotel.

To park your car, during your stay in the city, you have three options. The first one is that you find the parking space along the streets, paying attention to the blue stripes indicating the need of a parking ticket. But above all pay attention to the signs indicating that a cleaning unit passes through. Once a week in the evening, the cleaning unit goes to wash the streets nearby the hotel, and if a car is found parked, the car will receive a fine. The police in Chiavari are very strict and they charge 38 Euros for a fine.

The second option is to choose the Assarotti parking, next to the train station (see route) it is uncovered without guards during the night, but it is located in a controlled and peaceful area, under surveillance.

The third option, certainly the most safe and comfortable one, is to park your car at the Cattaneo park. It is an underground parking area located only 300 meters from the hotel, managed by the APCOA association. It is covered and guarded 24 hours a day. You will receive a pass that will help you leave and return any time. Parking fees vary according to length of stay ((see route).
